interesting article from rueter’s today on the discovery of a hormone that might be at the root of teenage moodiness. an appetizer:

Researchers reported on Sunday that a hormone produced by the body in response to stress that normally serves to calm adults and younger children instead increases anxiety in adolescents.

OH, now i see. Everything is coming together for me now…reminds me of that picture of the female lionness roaring at the male lion who is shrinking back.
